The Challenge
Afianza faced a common paradox in fast-growing companies: each new acquisition added clients and revenue, but also multiplied operational complexity. Each integrated business brought its own ERP systems (SAGE, A3, GEYCE), unique processes, and in many cases, mountains of spreadsheets scattered across SharePoint or Drive.
The result was an organization managing hundreds of clients without a unified view of their information:
—Fragmented and uncontrolled data: Critical information scattered across legacy systems and spreadsheets without traceability, generating inconsistencies and duplications.
—Exponential complexity: Each integration increased the difficulty of consolidating reliable data, turning stabilization into a perpetual challenge.
—Previous failed attempts: Several consulting firms had tried to solve the problem without success. The only tangible result was an unmanageable PowerBI report that required exclusive dedication without guaranteeing it was up to date.
—Distrust in technology: Previous failures generated skepticism toward any new technological solution. Additionally, they lacked internal capacity and methodologies to build sustainable solutions.
To scale profitably, Afianza needed a partner capable of deeply understanding their processes, integrating complex systems, and building the infrastructure that would allow them to grow without losing control.

The solution
We built the Data Platform from scratch, Afianza’s technological core based on event-driven microservices. The architecture allows for integrating heterogeneous sources, centralizing information in real-time, and scaling without compromising quality. The technological pillars were:
—Microservices architecture: TypeScript with NestJS, asynchronous communication via RabbitMQ, and deployment on Kubernetes for high availability and horizontal scalability.
—Complex integrations: Connection with legacy ERPs (SAGE, A3, GEYCE), corporate tools (Jira, HubSpot, OpenHR, Azure AD, SharePoint), and government systems (AEAT). Each integration designed as an independent adapter module with data quality validation.
—Open source and portability: PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Kubernetes guarantee total control, avoiding vendor lock-in and facilitating future evolution toward their own data warehouse.
All decisions prioritized scalability, maintainability, and portability, preparing the ground for Afianza to continue its digital transformation with new products that consume this centralized data.

The Results
The implementation of the Data Platform has begun to significantly transform Afianza’s operations, consolidating dispersed information, detecting and correcting errors systematically, and laying the foundation to scale through acquisitions.Reintentar
Business Impact
Effective Centralization
All information was consolidated into a single structured database, eliminating dispersion across multiple ERPs and spreadsheets. For the first time, Afianza has a unified vision and agile access to key data.
Visibility Over Data Quality
The process revealed critical quality problems that can now be addressed structurally thanks to automated validations, reducing errors and improving reliability.
Drastic Reduction in Management Time
Teams went from manually consulting multiple systems to accessing consolidated information, freeing up time for higher strategic value tasks.
Infrastructure Ready to Scale
The architecture allows for agile integration of new businesses through adapter modules, transforming M&A growth from a technical challenge into a competitive advantage.
Foundation for Innovation
The platform lays the groundwork for Afianza to build its data warehouse and develop new digital products, consolidating its transformation toward a data-driven organization.
What Our Clients Say
Thanks to Orbitant’s work, we now have a comprehensive and reliable view of all our client and operations data, allowing us to analyze information from multiple angles and improve the efficiency of our organization. The most valuable part has been working with a consolidated team: their shared experience and way of working have strengthened our communication, built trust, and increased our agility in decision-making.
